Circle of Prayer

The Circle of Prayer has grown out of feelings of deep love and compassion for the world, and a yearning desire that all who are suffering may be healed. We believe that praying from the heart is a wonderful way of helping to bring about healing.

We would therefore like to invite you all to join in a Healing Prayer at 9 am or 9 pm (or both!), every day, wherever you are, to forge a ring of healing around the globe. (If these times are difficult, please join in whenever you can).

Reciting the Invocation:

Toward the One

The Perfection of Love, Harmony & Beauty

The Only Being

United with all the Illuminated Souls

Who Form the Embodiment of the Messenger

The Spirit of Guidance.

and taking five breaths:

breathing in concentrating on – Shafee (Divine Healer)

breathing out concentrating on – Kafee (Divine Remedy).

We encourage you to follow your heart when deciding what to pray for. There are many places where you may wish to offer healing, or you could pray for the world as a whole.

Let us use our love to heal the world.

Our leader Pir Zia Inayat Khan has recently recommended a further prayer for the peace and safety of all those who are in danger and all those who are suffering. This prayer consists of the word ‘Aman’ (pronounced 'a-MAAN'), meaning‘sanctuary’. This word of prayer may be recited 11, 33 or 101 times, once, twice, or three times a day.

Thank you – and please feel free to contact us at any time.

The Inayatiyya Healing Order Circle of Prayer is also on Facebook, where we sometimes suggest a focus for healing with which you may wish to join in. To go to the page click here.

We have also joined with The Peace Mantra Foundation to offer ‘Prayers for the World’ during the year.  Click here to go to their website for more information: www.peacefoundation.org.uk.

Let us use our love to heal the world - please pass this on to others.

Hazrat Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan taught that

Although one person is separated from another, although there may be no outer connection, yet even from a distance the influence of thoughts and feelings is felt. … By the power of prayer man opens the door of the heart, in which God, the ever-forgiving, the all-merciful, abides.
